C344, is in private ownership and the Council consider it to be endangered. The Council is utilising its powers under the Planning and Development Act in relation to the endangerment of protected structures. The Draft Local Area Plan has zoned the land for Integrated Tourism and Leisure which allows for a variety of uses but it remains the owner

I recently heard of the fire at Gowran Castle and am wondering what is now going to happen to the building.
I am not from the area but always had a keen interest in the house and would like to know what the plans are now.
